Portrait Brooch Georgian Lady

Big hair, big hats, big feathers.....typically the ladies of the Georgian period, a time of extreme riches and extreme poverty. This is a ceramic brooch with the portrait, head and shoulders of a typically rich Georgian lady. The oval  brooch measures 5cms x 4cms. Likely to have been produced in the 1940's - 1960's period when often in jewellery there was a nostalgic look back to history. There is a little wear to the back of the brooch, but nothing that detracts from the front view.  There is a firm C clasp pin. Classical, and gift boxed by Vintageonline.
