Antique Pendant Lady Portrait

The beautiful portrait of a lady, oval shaped and quite large at 5.5cms x 4.5cms. A dark green background and she wears what appears to be a neo classical outfit. The pendant had been inscribed on 6.1.25...a gift to Tante Bertha.   The design of the lady's outfit would indicate late 17th century, so we can only presume that it would have been 6.1.1825. Brought via an estate sale in the UK with no provenance it is difficult to pinpoint the actual date it was made. The outfit could be a look back in history, nevertheless Tante Bertha (Auntie Bertha) definitely received the pendant at least 100 years ago, and possibly 200 years ago. The plain frame presents as silver but is unmarked. There is as to be expected a little wear to the back.  A glorious piece of antique nostalgia. The new chain has been included but an older style of chain or fine ribbon could also be attached to the plain silver tone pendant bale.
