WW11 Sweetheart Pin Brooch

How cute is this sailor boy ? From world war 11 period when sweetheart brooches were so popular for servicemen to give to their sweethearts.  This sailor boy wants his sweetheart to advertise the message while he is gone that she is well and truly TAKEN.  It is in silver tone metal and measurement is .5cms x 3.5cms.  It is in good condition especially considering its considerable age. From an estate sale USA.  We can only wonder how their romance went. There is a firm C shaped clasp to the back.  1940's history and gift boxed by Vintageonline.
