Watermelon Rivoli Rhinestone Flower Brooch

The Rivoli rhinestone is a type of multi faceted glass stone manufactured originally by Swarovski in the late 1950's early 1960's. The pointed stones with faceting gives a translucent brilliance to the design.  This is a lovely example with cyclamen pink, and green stones circling the brilliant large central purple stone. Measurement across is 6cms. Set in gold tone metal with a firm roll over safety clasp to the back.  In excellent condition, direct from an estate sale in USA.  Gift boxed by Vintageonline.
