The Scarab beetle was one of the most important symbols in ancient Egyptian culture. It represented to them the sun creation of life. Seeing scarab beetles rolling balls of dung (their food) the ancient Egyptians believed that these beetles were able to recreate life out of nothing.
This silver pendant, has the scarab emblem with wings, an iconic Egyptian image and hangs from a fine 42cm chain marked 925 for silver. The pendant measures 4.5cms x 3.5cms. In perfect new condition, and gift boxed by Vintageonline.
