Pierre Cardin 1980's Amethyst Rhinestone Choker Necklace
During the 1950's the couturier Pierre Cardin created one of the first ready to wear collections for women presented by a high profile designer. He went on to diversify in to accessories and jewellery as well as a range for men. His successful career continued for many years and this lovely choker is from his 1980 runway collection. Width of the fabulous gold tone links is 1.5cms. The amethyst glass faceted rhinestone measures 2cms x 1.5cms flanked by two square faceted clear rhinestones either side. Length of the choker end to end is 40cms. Pierre Cardin signature to the back. In excellent condition, and gift boxed by Vintageonline.
