Micro Mosaic Vintage Bracelet Italy

The wonderful craft of micro mosaics was a cottage industry during the first half of the last century and has continued to be a popular tourist piece to bring back from travelling in Italy even today. It is however the older pieces like this one from the 1940's period that true craftmanship can be seen. There are literally hundreds of tiny mosaic pieces inserted by hand to form floral patterns. This bracelet has five panels of intricate micro mosaic with metal links and a hook over fastener. There is some wear to the gold tone back, but nothing that detracts in the wearing of a true artisan vintage piece.
