Green Rhinestone Austria 1950's Vintage Brooch

Such a beautiful brilliant emerald green. Marked Austria to the back this 1950's brooch has a combination of emerald green foiled art glass cabochons with light green and emerald green rhinestones. Overall dimension is 6cms x 6cms, set in gold tone metal with a firm roll over safety clasp to the back. Austria was renowned during the 1950's-1960's period for the production of high quality designer costume jewellery. The quality of rhinestones used and superb workmanship gave them an excellent reputation. There is a little wear to the back of the brooch commensurate with age .but nothing that detracts from this quality piece. In very good condition and gift boxed by Vintageonline.
