Georgian Paste Antique Brooch
The Georgian period ran in England from 1910 till 1936. I believe this brooch produced with paste rhinestones is from that period. Paste was used to emulate diamonds, by cutting the glass to catch the light and set in to a solid backing. This is a solid piece and the back is testing as silver without any mark. Substantial in size at 7cms x 4.5cms. There is a strong C shaped clasp to the back. A lovely antique piece in good condition, gift boxed by Vintageonline.
