Egyptian Revival Vintage Bracelet
The revival of all things Egyptian was very popular from the 1920's onwards after the publicity of excavations in Egypt. There was another revival during the 1950's-1960's period, which is when this bracelet was probably produced. It was likely to have been a tourist piece. There are seven round metal discs -two with Egyptian heads, two with camels, two with red cabochons and a central taller black cabochon. All set into a dark brasstone finish. In excellent condition, and gift boxed by Vintageonline. Length end to end is 20cms including 3cm extension chain which is finished with a filigree hand design. Width is 2cms.
