David Andersen established his company in 1876 in Christiana (now Oslo) Norway and became a well renowned gold and silversmith and appreciated for his high standard of workmanship and quality. The company is still a family business run by 4th generation of David-Andersens.  This is their iconic butterfly brooch with vibrant enamel set in silver with a gold wash. The Andersen signature to the back with a firm roll over safety clasp. This is the smaller size of their range and measures 3cms x 2cms.  It is in excellent condition, and will be forever so - a testament to their high quality.
