Czech 1930's Wooden Bead Brooch
These wonderful wooden bead brooches were made in Czechoslovakia during the 1930's period. Miriam Haskell, the renowned American costume jewellery designer, commissioned many of these brooches to be included in her early ranges. Often they were unsigned. This brooch resembles the early Haskell pins but may have also been part of a copy cat range. It is in excellent condition, with no wear to the front, and a little wear to the back which does not detract when worn. Measurement across is 5.5cms. There is a firm roll over safety clasp. Gift boxed by Vintageonline.
