Bluebirds Enamel & Marcasite Sterling Silver 1950's Brooch

A sweet nostalgic brooch from the late 1940's-1950's period, a time when the blue birds of happiness were much in favour.  Production of these is attributed to Germany and there is a sterling silver signature to the back. Overall dimension is 5cms x 2.5cms. Each bird has ruby red rhinestone eyes, vibrant blue enamelled body enhanced with marcasite wings.
