Art Deco Egyptian Revival Bangle
A gold tone metal bangle with the imprint of an Egyptian head, likely to be the head of the boy king Tutankhamun. It could be a tourist piece - there was quite a revival of Egyptian jewellery once the tomb was opened early last century. Difficult to date the bangle exactly...could be anywhere from 1940's to 1960's. Width of the bangle is 3.5cms across the head print. Width across is 6cms with 4cm opening, so will fit most wrists. There is a small amount of flexibility in the metal. It is in good condition, with a little wear commensurate with age. Gift boxed by Vintageonline.
