Alexis Bittar Faceted Sapphire Blue Crystal Teardrop Bracelet

Alexis Bittar - a name synonymous with quality costume jewellery designed and produced in USA.  It was in 1990 when Alexis Bittar produced his first line of costume jewellery, mainly using lucite.  His reputation grew quickly and Bergdorf Goodman were early customers followed by Harrods and Isetan in Japan. He went on to produce much of the gorgeous costume jewellery for Sex In The City series in the early 2000's., and his jewellery has been worn by many celebrities continuing in to the present day.

This is an earlier piece, signed AB. The blue crystal stones are absolutely beautiful, the design is almost a brutalist look with the blue stones edged with rows of tiny rhinestones. There is a hook mechanism in the hammered silver metal band making it easy to put on. Measurement across the opening is 6cm so on the smaller wrist sizewise. 

Condition is excellent. It arrived from America with the original price tag so does not appear to have ever been worn.  ($225.00 USD)   Gift boxed by Vintageonline.
