Acanthus Leaf Gold tone with Amethyst Vintage Brooch

This lovely brooch is reminiscent of the Renaissance, or the time when many Hollywood movies were being made in the historic style. It has an antique look with two large carved acanthus leaves embellished with a prong set amethyst coloured stone. Overall dimension is 7cms across and the amethyst glass stone measures 2cms x 1cm. In very good condition with a firm roll over safety clasp to the back. Recently arrived from USA and from an estate sale. Gift boxed by Vintageonline.
