1950's Gold Glitter Confetti Lucite Clamper Bangle & Earrings
Lucite is an acrylic plastic that really came in to its own for the making of costume jewellery during the 1950's. These gorgeous confetti lucite sets were produced in many colour combinations with a range of different inlays, particularly in the United States where this recently arrived from. There is something deliciously nostalgic about them. This lovely set has white confetti combined with gold flecks, almost impossible to photograph but so vibrant in real life. Inlaid are yellow flower heads that look like daffodils. The matching earrings present the same and measure 3cms across. They are clip on, firm and comfortable. The bangle opens with a brass tone clamper connection which holds well. Measurement across the opening is 6.5cms. There is flexibility in the width. The width of the floral section of the bangle is 2.5cms. In excellent condition, especially considering its not around 70 years of age. Gorgeous, and gift boxed by Vintageonline.
