1940's Wooden Bead Clip
Although this was sold to me as an original Miriam Haskell I suspect that it isn't a Haskell piece. If it is, it is from the very early days of her business. She did produce a lot of wooden bead jewellery in the 1940's and this could be hers, or it could be a copy cat. Each green wooden bead is attached separately to the plastic base. The silver tone clip attached to the back is firm and in good condition, as is the brooch itself. Measurement across is a little over 7cms. Quite large. It attaches beautifully to the cleavage or collar of a dress to give that authentic 1940's look. Gift boxed by Vintageonline.
