1940's Floral Spray Brooch
The 1940's - a time of rationing and austerity. The trend for for large brooches gave a lift to the fashion of the time. You might not be able to afford a new suit or frock, but a large impressive brooch would give what you had an impressive lift. This great brooch is from that era and takes the shape of a sheaf of flowers each petal head centred with a large pink fully faceted rhinestone. Set in gold tone metal with a firm roll over safety clasp to the back. Overall dimension is a substantial 10cms x 5cms.
