1940's Deco Style Rhinestone Choker & Earrings, Germany
During the 1930's the company of Schreiber & Hiller of Pforzheim, Germany began production of costume jewellery and went on to produce and patent some innovative designs. Among them was the invention of the flexible channel set rhinestone band which was used in production of their art deco design choker necklaces, bracelets etc. The company was in existence until the 1960's during which time their high quality jewellery was sent world wide.
This lovely set has rows of channel set clear rhinestones, very much an art deco look, with matching earrings. The earrings are clip on. The choker necklace width of each channel is 2cms and length end to end finished with a ring clasp is 39cms. All set in silver tone metal with signature DOSO to the back. All in excellent vintage condition, with no wear showing to the earrings and a little wear to the chain of the choker. Authentically almost 80 years old. Lovely, and gift boxed by Vintageonline.
