Barclay USA Mid Century Brooch

The Barclay Company began in Rhode Island USA in 1947.  The standard of their jewellery production was very high incorporating 12 karat gold to gold fill their pieces as well as sterling silver.  The business closed in 1957 but during that 10 years production was prolific with stock being sold throughout the American retail stores. This gorgeous brooch from that period is such an example, still in very good condition after so many years. The gold tone metal is bright and the three enamelled flowers perfect.
