Aurora Borealis Crystal Cha Cha Vintage Brooch

So the Cha Cha (the dance) originated in Cuba in the 1930's - 1940's.  When the costume jewellery was really dancing during the 1950's this fun style of brooch was given the "cha cha" name because of its movement. So during the 1950's they were produced in many colours and variations. As the aurora borealis finish was perfected during the 1950's it was a wonderful finish to use on crystal beads and it enhances this lovely cha cha with its reflection of rainbow colours in the light.  Iconic vintage brooch in very good condition.
